Chancenkarte in Germany

The Chancenkarte is Germany’s new points-based system (introduced in 2024) designed to attract skilled workers from outside the EU. It allows qualified professionals to come to Germany to look for a job for up to one year, even without a prior job offer.
Applicants are awarded points based on criteria such as:

• Educational qualifications

• Work experience

• Language skills (German/English)

• Age

• Previous stays in Germany

• Financial stability

If you meet the minimum required points (usually 6), you can apply for the Chancenkarte and begin your journey to work and live in Germany.
