Representative of Turkey
Hi and Selam! My name is Yaren Solak. Having grown up in Turkey and now continuing my journey in Germany, I see myself as someone who builds bridges between cultures, ideas, and disciplines. Representing Turkey abroad has always been both an honour and a source of motivation for me. It has shaped the way I approach challenges with openness, curiosity, and persistence.
I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in Istanbul and am now pursuing a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). For me, studying abroad has been more than an academic step; it has been an opportunity to broaden my horizons, immerse myself in new cultures, and develop both personally and professionally.
Over the years, I have been actively involved in diverse projects ranging from student rover vehicle development to autonomous motorsport research. These experiences have deepened my fascination for aerospace and mobility while teaching me the importance of teamwork, creativity, and resilience in solving complex engineering problems.
Beyond academics, I value continuous self-development as a guiding principle in my life. I constantly seek opportunities to step outside my comfort zone, embrace international experiences, and take on new responsibilities that challenge me to grow.
Looking ahead, I am excited to apply my knowledge and skills to projects that connect people, cultures, and technologies. My goal is to contribute to progress not only in aerospace engineering but also in fostering meaningful collaboration across borders. I believe innovation thrives where different perspectives meet, and I aspire to be a part of creating that space, whether in engineering, research, or global initiatives.
